I am going to be studying Bsc (hons) Forensic Psychology and Criminal Justice.  I applied for this award as I saw it as a good opportunity for me to become completely independent of my parents. Gaining this award has enabled me to do this and it will be of great help when buying books and other things necessary for the course. I am honoured to have been awarded this bursary and I can now live independently and as my parents are on benefits it means that they will not be under as much pressure.
